Pre-Visit Care

Individuals Ineligible for Microblading

Due to the nature of this procedure, there are certain individuals ineligible for microblading or any sort of permanent cosmetic procedure. Please read through the list below to ensure that you are eligible for this service.


Under 18 years of age

History of keloid scarring

Pregnant or nursing

Uncontrolled diabetes (If your diabetes is controlled under a physician’s care, you can get microbladed with a doctor’s note)

On Accutane (must be off the medication 6 months before procedure)

Epileptic

Taking antibiotics (must be off antibiotics 2 weeks prior to appointment)

If you are required to take antibiotics prior to dental work you must have a doctor’s note

Active skin cancer in the area to be tattooed

In chemotherapy/radiation (must be 6 months finished, or have a doctor’s note)

Have psoriasis, eczema or rosacea on or near the brows day of procedure

Autoimmune disorders/diseases such as Lupus (Unless you receive a doctor’s note)

Hemophiliac or heavy bleeder (Doctor’s note required)

Viral infections/diseases such as Hepatitis B/C, HIV/AIDS

Have had an organ transplant, and are on anti-rejection medications.

*Please contact us before booking if you have any allergies to Lidocaine, Tetracaine, Epinephrine, latex, any makeup, hair dye, heavy metals, or alcohol to do a patch test

How To Prepare For Your Microblading Appointment

One Month Before

Botox/neurotoxins must be done at least one month before your scheduled appointment. Botox may be resumed 2 weeks after your appointment.

Two Weeks Before Appointment

No facials, microdermabrasion, microneedling, or skin treatments, 2 weeks prior to service. You may resume any skin treatments 4 weeks after your procedure. Important - chemical peels and laser treatments may not be done within 60 days before or after your treatment.

If you are taking antibiotics, you must be off of them 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment. If you will not be off of them before your appointment date, please contact us to reschedule.

Avoid tanning your face 2 weeks prior to appointment (if you show up sunburned, or with skin peeling, you will be rescheduled, and will need to pay a new deposit fee).

If you use any brow enhancing serums, you must stop using them 2 weeks before appointment.

Stop using any retinol/a and vitamin a creams/serums 2 weeks prior to your appointment date.

Refrain from tweezing, waxing, threading, or tinting your brows at least 10 days before your procedure. We will groom your brows for you the day of the treatment.

48 Hours Before Appointment

Refrain from taking any blood thinners, such as: Ibuprofen, aspirin, turmeric, fish oil, vitamin e oil. If you are on a prescription blood thinner please contact your doctor before stopping any medication.

Do not consume alcohol 48 hours prior to appointment.

Day of Appointment

Do not consume ANY sort of caffeinated beverages 12 hours before your appointment (you may have some as soon as your procedure is over).

Do not consume any alcoholic beverages on the day of your appointment.

If you normally fill in your brows and desire that specific shape, please do so the day of your appointment to get a better idea of what microblading results you will be comfortable with (if you are open to suggestions, you do not need to fill in your brows).

Please come prepared with pictures of brow inspiration of shapes and styles that you like.
